The Learning Patch was founded by Emily, an experienced educator, Assistant Headteacher and outstanding teacher with over a decade of teaching experience across the primary years.

Emily created The Learning Patch with a clear vision: to offer children a calm, nurturing and inspiring space where they can build confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning. Her approach blends high-quality teaching with play-based, child-led experiences that meet each child exactly where they are.

With a strong background in early years, primary education and school leadership, Emily understands how children learn best. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom, supporting children academically while also nurturing their wellbeing, independence and self-belief.

At The Learning Patch, Emily brings together expert teaching, thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of child development to ensure every child feels seen, supported and able to thrive.
