Home Education Classes (Ages 4–11)

Learning Beyond the Traditional Classroom

At The Learning Patch, our Home Education sessions provide a nurturing, inspiring and highly personalised approach to learning for children aged 4–11.

We believe education should be dynamic, meaningful and tailored to the individual child — not confined to desks, worksheets or a one-size-fits-all system. Our sessions are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and help children rediscover the joy of learning.

Through small groups and relationship-based teaching, children are supported in calm indoor and outdoor learning environments where exploration and creativity are encouraged every day.

A Creative, Hands-On Approach

Learning at The Learning Patch goes far beyond traditional tutoring. We incorporate all curriculum subjects in engaging, exploratory and practical ways that allow children to learn through doing, questioning and creating.

Sessions may include:

  • Outdoor learning and nature-based activities
  • Storytelling and creative writing
  • Hands-on maths investigations
  • Science experiments and exploration
  • Art, sensory and creative projects
  • Reading and communication development
  • Topic-based learning linked to children’s interests

From potion making and den building to nature-inspired literacy and practical maths, every experience is designed to make learning memorable, meaningful and enjoyable.

Tailored to Your Child

Every child learns differently, and we celebrate that.

Our home education provision is carefully adapted to meet each child’s individual needs, interests and learning style. Whether a child thrives outdoors, benefits from a slower pace, needs additional emotional support or simply learns best through play and exploration, we create sessions where they can truly flourish.

Because learning should feel inspiring, not overwhelming.
